In this modern day retelling of “Of Mice and Men,” Madison, an abandoned teenager, & Teddy, her mentally- challenged brother, are trying to escape the confines of their previous life and run away to Portland, Oregon—the biggest city, the farthest away—before social services puts them in foster care.
